"Friends" was the best show of the '90s and honestly is still one of the best shows on television/Netflix. Aside from the show being absolutely hilarious, "Friends" has taught us some important life lessons we all should remember. Whether it's about Monica, Phoebe, Rachel, Joey, Chandler, or Ross, the show has taught us about love, relationships and life in general.

1. Always be there for your friends.

One thing I've learned from watching "Friends" is you should always be there for your friends. They have all dealt with situations in their lives, from starting over, to struggling to become an actor, to finding the courage to talk to their estranged father, to loosing a job and having to wear fake breasts and a '60's uniform, they stick together, through thick and thin they stay together. Which proves that you can get through anything with the help of your friends.

2. Love is hard, but worth the fight.

Ross and Rachel are the prime example of "if you love someone, fight for them." Those two broke up and got back together a lot. But of course in the end they got together forever.

3. Be yourself.

One thing I've learned from "Friends" is that it's truly OK to be yourself. Every character in this show has a very different personality. Phoebe is the mellow hippy who somehow gives the best life advice ever. Monica is a neat freak. She'd know if one little thing was out of place. Chandler is the "funny guy" in the show. He's always saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, and uses humor as a resort to anything. Rachel never feels bad about obsessing over a handbag. Joey never feels shame about obsessing about food or girls and Ross is constantly talking about dinosaurs. They aren't afraid do be themselves.

4. It's OK not to know what's happening next.

Remember when Rachel dumps Barry and moves to the city? She started over, and while it's hard she learned how to live on her own without the support of her mom and dad. She was living a life where everything was handed too her, but Rachel got a job, moved out and in with Monica and truly became an adult. My point is, is that life throws us curve balls and things happen we don't expect. But with the help and support of good friends you will be OK and being in the adult world isn't all that scary.

5. Sometimes "The One" is right in front of you.

A perfect example of this is Monica and Chandler. They've known each other since high school and they flirted some but not in any way that made it seem like they'd get together until Ross and Emily's wedding when they ended up sleeping together, and then from there on out they stuck together and ended up getting married. They loved one another. Proving that sometimes you don't see what's right in front of you at the time, but give it time and soon it will develop. Love is surprising.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
