Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, and that's exactly how those born under this sign see themselves: number one. Aries are knows as the leaders of the pack, first in line, first to step up, first to get things moving. We are often described in a few words: enthusiastic, independent, forgiving and feisty (my personal favorite).

To all of those aries out there, I appreciate all of you more than you know. We share a major a raw energy of life that no one else shares.

Here is a list of our greatest qualities:

Adventurous

This is a fairly common trait as far as the Aries are concerned. We're not the ones to shy away from taking risks, Aries seem to push their luck just for that adrenalin rush we crave.

Courageous

When the going gets tough, the Aries get going. It doesn't matter how difficult the situation may be, we will take any challenge head on.

Positive and optimistic

The positive energy that we posses and spread not only gives us a psychological advantage over others, but also makes us quite popular in the social circles.

Passionate

If we are interested in something, a relationship, sport or a project, we will put our passion into it and be an inspiration for others.

Stubborn in our nature

Our fiery sign is more than stubborn. If there was a stronger word for stubborn, we would be that. It may not be our best trait, but somehow we work with what we've got.

Impulsive

It's also in our nature, we are super impulsive, which may not be a good thing.

My least favorite,

Arrogant

It is believed that what we know and perceive is right and we sometimes do not want to believe otherwise.

Although we have our flaws, just like any other sign, I am proud to be an Aries with such a strong personality. Whenever someone has something to say about it, I just say "blame it on the Aires."
