Growing up, people are always asked the question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" The older we get, the more the answer to this question becomes our reality. Whether you've always known where your true passion lies or this is a concept you've yet to discover, not to worry. Finding your passion is important, but life works in wondrous ways, which makes this discovery easier than one might think.

For aspiring photographer, Sydney Sheehan, although the answer to this question was never a complete mystery, working in the world of photography opened doors to opportunities she wasn't aware even existed. With multiple opportunities to work in the field of photography during her high school years, Sheehan realized how much she enjoyed capturing precious moments. Upon graduation, she decided to declare photography as her major, realizing she could possibly make a career out of this passion. Just as she did, it is important that others find themselves becoming involved in something which they're passionate about. Passion for your field of study is absolutely vital for productive work, in my personal opinion.

Sheehan makes her passion evident through every click of the camera. After gaining professional experience through various internships, she has gained the skills to make her stand apart from the rest. While many of these skills were ones she had to learn, a great many were those which she found within herself. Finding passion simultaneously helps you find drive and inspiration to do what you love.

After starting college, Sheehan's photography career really began to take off. She has photographed many fashion events, weddings, graduations and much more, all which prove the magic which can happen upon finding your passion.

She has proven to herself and many others that dreams can easily become reality with the necessary amount of determination.

Sheehan is approaching her junior year at Endicott College in Massachusetts where she continues to perfect her photography career and escalate her passion for this talent.
