It’s that time of year again! Time for holiday music, eggnog, and…. shopping! Lots of it. Of course, Christmas isn’t all about the gifts. It’s about being home and spending time with your loved ones. But if you’re like me and are obsessed with the giving of christmas gifts, you’ve got to make sure you get something for everyone on your list. But that can add up quickly. And we’re at that awkward stage where we are old enough to be buying everyone our own gifts but too broke to do so. Not to worry, if you didn’t find all the deals you were looking for on Black Friday, I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve for christmas savings.
Online shopping is the way to go. Saves the hassle of going out and it’s where all the best deals are hiding.
Download the app Wish
This app is filled with extremely cheap products for still more than decent quality. Order soon though as these items can take up to two weeks to be delivered. And that’s another great thing about it. The shipping is just as low priced at the items themselves. Sometimes as low as $1!
Check out Amazon
Duh. As students, we get amazon prime for free for 6 months. This is the perfect time of year to sign up for that. Order all your gifts prime and get them within two days.
Price match Amazon deals with eBay
eBay is usually hit or miss, but I’ve found some great deals on items on eBay for even cheaper than some amazon prices.
Check out woot.com
The deals are random so this is one to check back on regularly.
Last but not least – Groupon
Get your mom a nice massage deal, your boyfriend a nice surprise getaway, or your grandparent a family photo printed on a canvas.
Christmas shopping doesn’t have to break your bank. You can make it look like you spent a fortune on your family but still have enough money left to fill your gas tank to get home.
