Finals week. A week that is hated by all college students. Unless you are one of those lucky college students who does not have to take any finals, so finals week is just an extra week of vacation for you. For the rest of us, though, it is a week that we dread. It is a week filled with tests that could potentially ruin everything that you have learned during the entire semester. It is a week where you will not be able to find a quiet spot at the library because everyone and their brother is there studying. It is a week where the only thing keeping students awake is the large amounts of coffee that they have been drinking. It is a week that can be perfectly described by the Lord of the Rings movies.

1. When you get back from Thanksgiving break and realize how close finals are.

The end of Thanksgiving break means the beginning of starting to study for finals for college students. Thanksgiving break went by way too fast.

2. That moment when you realize that you were not as productive as you wanted to be over Thanksgiving break.

You probably had a list of things that you had hoped to accomplish over Thanksgiving Break, but you were too busy with friends and family to do most of them. Now that you are back at school, you are probably wishing that you had used some of that time that you spent watching football to get some schoolwork done.

3. Looking at your planner and see everything that you have to get done before finals week.

It seems like every one of your professors decided to schedule either a test, a quiz, a presentation or a project for the exact same week. So not only are you having to study for your finals, you also have a million other things to get done.

4. Trying to calculate your grade in the class to see how much you need to make on the final to do well in the class.

This can either make you feel really good or really bad depending on if you have to make a 65 or a 105 on the final in order to maintain or raise your final grade.

5. When the professor says that the final is going to be cumulative.

So you expect to remember every single thing that we have covered this semester? These are by far the worst kind of final exams.

6. Realizing that you have multiple finals on the same day.

Hopefully you will have at least one nice professor who will let you take their final on another day. If not, good luck.

7. Realizing that you only have a week left until your finals, and you have barely had time to study for them.

With everything else that you have going on, it can be easy to neglect studying for your finals, sometimes. The amount of studying that you have to do can seriously catch you by surprise if you put it off for too long.

8. When it is the weekend before finals week.

So much stuff to learn and so little time to learn it.

9. Walking into your first final.

You walk into the classroom confident, after a weekend of hardcore studying, knowing that you will do amazing on your first final!

10. Hearing from other people that one of your finals is hard.

Thanks a lot it was not like I was not already stressed for that final. Thanks for making my stress ten times worse than it already was.

11. Walking into your last final.

This final is the only thing coming in between me and Christmas Break.

12. How you feel when you are finally done.

Time to take a nap and watch Netflix because I deserve it.

11. Waiting for your final grades to be posted.

Every hour you check to see if your professors have updated your grades even though you know that they will probably wait until the day before grades are due.

12. When your final grades are finally posted and you realize that you never have to deal with those classes ever again!

I never have to take [insert trifling class name here] ever again!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
