As dead week draws near and finals are just around the corner, it's important not only to start studying all the material that's escaped your mind throughout the whole semester but also start preparing for all the mental breakdowns you're going to have these next two weeks.
If you have the same motivation as me, you'll keep telling yourself "one more episode" of your new Netflix series (or Grey's..again) that you conveniently started to watch right before dead week, while telling yourself you don't have the energy to study.
And what better way is there to describe these feelings and breakdowns than the emotional cast of Grey's Anatomy.
1. When your teacher reminds you that there are only three more classes before your final and you realize the semester is almost over.
2. Looking at the study guide and seeing questions on material that you learned in the beginning of the semester that you completely forget.
3. Even after pulling an all-nighter, you still feel like you accomplished nothing.
4. When you told yourself you were going to stay ahead of your work and studying so you didn't end up cramming like this.
5. Calling your parents after a night of no sleep and only three cups of coffee later and they ask if you're okay.
7. When moral is low and you're very close to giving up...
6. But then you're finally starting to feel prepared for the final
7. By the end of the week, you're so exhausted, you can barely perform simple tasks
8. And finally, when all your tests are done with, you can't help but celebrate.
Dead week and finals week are no doubt the hardest part of the semester, but there is no better feeling than finally getting your tests over with and being done with those classes. Remember that there is no such thing as too much coffee and anywhere is a good place to sleep if you try hard enough. Good luck!!!
