The 10 Stages Of Finals Week, As Told By 10 Of The Cutest Creatures On Earth

Hey there, you almost-done-with-the-semester student!! I get it: everything about that phrase sounds just right except for the little "almost" that's squeezed in there. After all, that "almost" packs in a lot of work BUT, that's not what we're here for right now. Right now, just let yourself smile, relax, and laugh at these adorable little guys.

Yeah, I went there. You know you need to sleep, so invest in yourself, knowing that it's only going to make every aspect of your finals week (and life) better.

When you get the exam paper

Like, really? Why are there so many questions on topics from before the first midterm? Why are there so many questions? Why are there even questions? WHY DO FINALS EVEN EXIST?

How you feel after the first day of exams

... and also knowing you'll have to go back and study for the next one. BUT, make sure to take that break, OK? You'll be happier and you'll get more done. #WinWin

Eating is key. Get in those good snacks, OK? And try to relax as much as you can and just focus on the yummy food you're eating.

TBH, naps are fantastic breaks. Go on, nap and don't be ashamed.

Of COURSE you're happy for them, but it also sucks, OK. Don't judge. Por favor, don't leave. *Cue puppy-dog eyes*

When you STILL have one more exam to take

Like, seriously? I should be done already. *Checks course announcements to confirm there really is a final.*

You're on the last page of your last exam for the semester. Horsepower: Off. The. Charts!!! You know you're minutes away from a long, well-deserved, break filled with all your favorite people and things.

Look, mom, I made it! *Cue motherly doting and adoration*

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
