The week that we've all been dreading since the beginning of the semester is finally here...finals week. From the freak out over endless study guides to the tears shed during all-nighters at the library, every college student knows that your best friend during this week of torture is definitely music (and caffeine, of course). For all the students struggling and stressing out over your exams, here's to the hope that this playlist of songs helps you through. Happy studying!

1. "Survivor" - Destiny's Child

Let's be real, nothing gets you going more than a little throwback to the Destiny Child days...especially with a beat as catchy as this one. You can't even deny that it makes you want to throw on a Juicy Couture jumpsuit and some shades and show your finals who's boss.

2. "Alright" - Kendrick Lamar

When you're feeling down and out, there's nothing better than a song that repeatedly assures you, at least a hundred times to be exact, that, "We gon' be alright." I mean, If Kendrick can make it out of Compton, then who are we to say we can't get through a couple exams?

3. "The Middle" - Jimmy Eat World

Another classic throwback from the middle school punk rock days that we all know and love. A song with a beat that makes you dream of better days, and also assures you that everything is going to be OK.

4. "Breakeven" - The Script

We all need that one song that we can listen to while dramatically staring out of the window of the library during a study break...this is that song. The first line alone relates to exactly how you're probably feeling during this time: "I'm still alive but I'm barely breathing." Not to mention the "I'm falling to pieces" line. Shout out to the Script, I feel you, my dudes.

5. "I Love College" - Asher Roth

During the worst time of the semester, it's practically therapeutic to remind yourself of the best times. Not to mention the summer vibe this song gives off...a reminder of the carefree times to come once you get through the week.

6. "Diva" - Beyonce

This one is more for the ladies, but boys you can't even act like this song doesn't get you bumpin'. The perfect song to play as you strut your way up to the Starbucks line like a boss and make it seem like you have your life together.

7. "What Now" - Rihanna

For all those who feel like your going through a mid-life crisis during this week...this song is for you. Mentally screaming "WHATTTTT....NOWWWW...I JUST CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT" right alongside the baddest in the industry definitely brings a nice, comforting release.

8. "Mr. Brightside" - The Killers

Do I even need to justify?

9. "The Scientist" - Coldplay

A staple song to listen to when you just need to release some emotion. "Nobody said it was easy, but nobody said it would be this hard." I mean, is there a better song to play while letting a couple tears stain your textbook? I thought not.

10. "I'm in Love With a Stripper" - T Pain

OK, OK, so you're not actually contemplating dropping out to become a stripper at this point, but...you're allowed to dream of the easy life that could have been, right?

11. "Shake it Out" - Florence and the Machine

The "It's always darkest before the dawn" line that comes right before the epic chorus that makes you want to get up and shake what your mama gave ya? Talk about the perfect mid-study pick-me-up.

12. "We are the Champions" - Queen

Last but not least, the best song to exit the library to after a nice, long session of studying, taking notes and writing papers. Raise one fist in the air, because, "No time for losers, 'cause we are the champions...OF THE WORLD!"

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
