Finals week is here and everyone is stressing. Study sessions are more common and a lack of meal swipes is a thing. Everyone goes through different stages of emotional distress throughout the week, and everyone experiences there problematic situations differently. Here are just a few Gifs to explain the different stages and situations that occur during the weeks of finals from one of my favorite movie series, "Lord Of The Rings".

1. When you've been studying for five hours straight, haven't eaten, and are on the verge of your 3rd emotional breakdown of the day, and someone tries to talk to you.

We all know that feeling when we're so miserable and we don't want any human interaction and we just want to sit and cry alone.

2. When you've run out of meal swipes and are trying to think of foods that will sustain you without having to pay a lot.

Luckily my school does both meal swipes and what's called "dining dollars", so we have two options for types of dining halls we eat at. But when you run out of even one out of the two, you start to ration any food in your dorm and only buy food at the store if absolutely necessary.

3. Trying to go into finals with a positive attitude.

We don't want to do finals, but sulking and being miserable won't make it any better.

4. When all your friends are done with finals and you're here until the last day.

I feel so bad for all the people that will still be at school taking finals after I'm done with my last final.

5. The feeling you get when you see your professor has brought in food for the final.

Best part about having fun teachers is that they bring food to the final exam because they know finals are terrible.

6. The look you give someone when you're finally done with their crap.

It's a sensitive time to begin with, but there are just certain people that say stupid things around finals week, and one little thing will set people off.

7. When you look at a question on your exam and think you know it but then second guess yourself.

I'm such an over-thinker so if I'm not completely sure of an answer I second guess myself so much during exams.

8. Feeling like death from lack of sleep and knowing you look and feel like a zombie.

We all know the feeling of being dead and just being a walking zombie.

9. The look everyone gives the first student who passes in their final.

We all know they're either a genius or failed the crap out of that test.

10. The feeling you get when you finally finish your last final.

Last final done I'm peace-ing out and going home and sleeping for the rest of the day.

11. When you are finally driving home for break.

The sweet satisfaction of finally going home after being done with the semester.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. I mean, really, what's the point in entering a relationship with someone if you don't know whether or not you're compatible on a very basic level?

Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
