Finals Week As Told By Disney
buzzfeed.com

Finals week is probably the moststressful week of the whole academic year. Finals bring out the best and the worst in people, from weird study habits to not showering for three days at a time. Here is Finals week told by Disney!

1. When you don't stress because finals aren't until May, then you realize its May.

"I've got time to study", "There's no rush, it's still April", "Oh boy, It's May 1st." "Don't forget, finals are coming up in a week!"

2. Having three exams, four big papers, and a presentation to finish.

Time to spend eight hours in the same seat, reading about stuff that is only relevant to this class, that you'll never use again!

3. When you've sat in the same seat at the Library all week.

Your chair is your chair. It most likely has a permanent imprint of your butt now. And It's also seen some of your worst and best of times during finals week, its a part of you.

4. Justifying your overeating and hour long showers to your roommate.

It's a stressful time for everyone, snacking is the least of your worries.

5. Trying to make the word count on your final paper.

So many filler words. So many unnecessary quotes.

6. Finding out the final is cumulative.

We all relate to this one.

7. Contemplating on switching majors because of all the work.

So. Much. Work. Do all majors have this much? Or is it just mine? It seems like just mine.

8. When someone says they only have one final.

the jealousy is real. If you're not doing any finals, wanna take mine?

9. Determining that you need a 98% on your final to pass the class.

Freaking out because am I really going to get a 98% on the final?

10. Studying for so long that you're not sure what's going on anymore.

I'm just going to nod and agree to everything you say to me at this point because I'm not sure if I even have a brain anymore.

11. Trying to find a place to study, but realizing everywhere is packed.

Every seat can't be taken, and every place can't be completely full, but it is... Welcome to finals week!

12. Not showering because you can be using that time to study.

Free time is study time, you can't waste it.

13. Planning your mental breakdowns.

They have to be scheduled, they must fit in between crying and bathroom breaks.

14. Getting your first final exam.

The panic is real, it's intense, and it's not going away.

15. flipping through your whole final trying to find something you know.

only to realize you know basically nothing, and everything you studied isn't on the exam.

16. Waiting for grades to be posted.

It's like the calm before the second storm, but it's not actually calm. You're still panicking about finals.

17. Passing all of your exams.

Its finally over, all the hard work has paid off! Go you!

18. Packing up and moving out.

So long semester! I'm glad you're finally over!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
