It is that time of the semester again — right before winter break, about two weeks until it's over. While it's exciting to have basically a whole month off, the impending doom of finals week is quickly creeping up on us all.
While I have been anxiously awaiting the end of the semester so I can enjoy and celebrate Christmas to the fullest, I am starting to immediately regret the fact I rushed the semester until a week before finals week.
I have recently rediscovered YouTube star, Jenna Marbles, and her videos and have realized she has a lot of interesting finals week advice to share with us all.
1. Stressed out by studying and final projects? Eat away your feelings!
2. Try your best to stay off of Tumblr, and other social media while studying!
3. Avoid last-minute semester drama in your circle.
4. Remember, you only need to know a brief overview of the old material, the nitty gritty details don't matter.
5. Take time for yourself.
6. Pet therapy is key.
7. Just pray and embrace your current situation.
8. Remember, make-up is not necessary during finals week ... it's such a force to begin with.
9. Don't fall asleep while studying!!!
10. When your soul begins to slowly die...
11. Prepare yourself for hours on end at the library: snacks, coffee, water.....
12. Think about how great your future after graduation will be!
13. Drinking game for when the professor does final review!!!! Just kidding it's finals week, you can't drink...
**
Drinks for each complaint from students who should be grateful we even have a review for the final exam**14. Sleep in.
You deserve it. You can be late as long as you show up! It's the last week of classes anyway...
15. It's OK to show up to class in sweats.
16. It's OK to lose your MIND!
Temporarily...you gotta pass...
17. And if you happen to not do so well on a final ... Blame Obama!
Very uplifting and inspiring! Good luck on finals! Sleep well, eat a good meal, don't have a mental breakdown... We'll be good.
