Every college student knows the feeling... coming back from Thanksgiving break thinking, "I only have two weeks until winter break... It can't be too bad." Little did we realize, these two weeks were about to be hell. Teaching yourself everything you were supposed to learn all term in two weeks is a lot harder than you thought, you're even more broke than you were before because of the amount of money you spent at Starbucks, and all you want is Christmas. Now that it's December, we can't wait to drink hot chocolate, listen to Christmas music, and eat a ton of cookies. The only this stopping us is.... you guessed it.... finals week.
When you do your best to be polite to the people next to you in the library who won't stop talking.
Sorting through the pile of papers sitting on your desk trying to find your notes.
That one teacher who doesn't give a final.
Trying to avoid studying at any and all costs.
When your teacher adds in one last assignment due before the final.
When you realize you haven't seen anyone in 96 hours because all you've done is study.
You have a sassier, angrier, more annoyed attitude because you're a little on edge.
When you realize you totally don't know as much as you thought you did.
Having a breakdown and crying but then realizing that you have a tight schedule and you don't have time to cry.
Deciding that you're gonna just drop out because it's easier that way.
You're super ready for Christmas time because it's the only thing getting you through this week.
Writing your course evaluations because your teacher made them a part of your grade.
While taking your final you're able to confidently answer at least one question without second guessing yourself.
When your professor wishes you a happy holiday as you leave the room from a final you just failed...
When you leave your last final at 5pm on the last day of finals week and you realize you're the last one on campus.
