The end of the year is coming and yes that deadline is usually followed by stress and anxiety. Sometimes you just outright become crazy or maybe that's just a college thing. But regardless of how your semester has gone, you can always count on finals to make you craw into the fetal position for five days. If you are one of those people here are a few bible verses to help you see the light at the end of the tunnel (aka summer).

1. Joshua 1:9

"Be Brave, Be Strong, Be Fearless. You are never alone."

This is the way you should walk into finals.

2. Psalm 46:10

"Be still and know that I am."

Sit back, relax, breathe deep and know that he stands above your exams. Think of everything he was able to do, he has given you the powers to do amazing things as well.

3. Psalm 34:18

"He rescues those whose spirits are crushed."

If you are feeling down, received a bad grade or lost a friend just remember he will take care of you and all those troubles will soon be past.

4. Proverbs 3:5

"Trust the lord with all your heart, and don't depend on your own understanding."

He has a way of doing things. He opens one door for you and shuts another. DO not fear his plan but embrace it.

5. Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you not harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future."

Regardless of how you see things, he knows what he is doing. He has a plan for you, he knows what he is doing.

6. Habakkuk 3:19

"The Lord God is my strength, my bravery. He will walk me through places of trouble and suffering."

When you feel as if you can no longer depend on anyone think again. Look to him and he will guide you through these challenges.

7. Matthew 19:26

"With God anything is possible."

Anything. Including everything you are worried about.

8. Philippians 4:13

"I can do anything through Christ who gives me strength."

Yes, you can do anything. Do not give up on yourself during these times. If you give up on yourself then you will never succeed. He has never given up on you.

9. Esther 4:14

"Perhaps this is the moment for which you were created"

He created you, he created these hardships in order to test you. Trust in what he is doing and try your hardest. That is all he ask.

10. 1 Peter 5:7

"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."

If you are having anxiety during these last few weeks fear not, he will listen. He will take away your anxiety and replace it with love.

11. Matthew 11:28

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Eventually finals will be over!! Summer will be here and we will be rested.

Before you crawl into the fetal position, eat three tubs of ice cream or scream, think about who is handling this situation with you. You are not alone, He is right by your side.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
