Fraternity formals and mountain weekends are all fun and games until you realize you really have to work to party. Sorority girls everywhere have slaved over big little crafts, but nothing can truly compare to the endless hours of blood, sweat, and tears that go into making a cooler. Whether it's for your boyfriend (lol), best friend, FWB, or some random homie that needs a date last minute, you better believe you're going to have a solid week of acrylic paint, Pinterest board stalking, mod podge (#blessed), tracing paper, and mental breakdowns cut out for you. So the process tends to go a little something like this:
Some frat boy invites you to an event, usually it involves traveling to some far away place to party and make regrettable decisions. Sounds like a great idea so naturally you're over here like:

It's the weekend before you leave so you think you have plenty of time to get this done along with all your other school work, due throughout the week. You happily show up at Michael's to buy all your basic necessities.
Once you're out of Michael's you decide to hit up Wal-Mart, only to find that every other girl going on the trip has already bought out the store of all their coolers...
It's Tuesday and you haven't even sanded your cooler and you have an exam and two papers due Friday...
It's Wednesday night and everyone else is done with their coolers and going out to the bars tonight... Naturally you still have wayyy too much to do to be able to join them -- so you're staying in tonight.
Your roomies are starting to get sick of you and your constant begging for help, they keep telling you to "get a life" and it's "only a cooler"... nah whatever.
You get a call from your mom about your credit card bill after needing more crafting supplies about 45 times in the past week, needless to say she isn't thrilled.

You show your date the finished cooler and he actually loves it, but you try to act casual about it.
When you finally give your cooler to your date and feel like you're giving up your first born child.. Separation anxiety at its finest.
You get to the event...formal, mountain weekend, you name it...
