I am absolutely dying for summer. I cannot wait for the warm weather, the late nights, the beach, swimming, eating ice cream, not having to wear 230431 layers when I go outside, and soooooo much more. Summer is by far the best part of the year. I just enjoy every second of it. So, in the spirit of summer, here are my top five vacation destinations that you absolutely HAVE to check out.
If you haven't been, you need to go, and going in the winter doesn't count as going. The Cape is a completely different place in the summer. Do yourselves a favor, saddle up with a weeks worth of gear, book a room at the Riviera Beach Hotel, and relax on the beach in the best part of Massachusetts for a week. You can thank me later.
2. Nassau, Bahamas
I've only had the pleasure of traveling here once, but I'll never forget it. The Atlantis Resort is INSANE! You'll live the life of luxury during your vacation, you'll see some amazing beaches, and you'll come home with a piece of brain coral the size of your head, like I did. (I still have it)
This one should be obvious. Disney World is the place where dreams come true. You'll have such a great time no matter what your age. Nothing beats seeing your childhood unfold in front of you. The food is great, the rides are crazy, and the fun activities are unlimited. Also, please go to Typhoon Lagoon. That place is literally my fantasy world. Or Discovery Cove. Literally perfect. Or definitely Animal Kingdom. You know what, all of it. Go to all of it. You will not regret it and neither will your wallet. (It might)
I'm pretty sure the only reason I wanted to go to Miami was because of Burn Notice (my favorite TV show) but I absolutely did not regret it. We stayed right on South Beach and, let me tell you, the culture is crazy. You'll will never see a more amped up place on this earth than South Beach, Miami in the summer. People everywhere, Lamborghinis everywhere, police everywhere. You'll fall in love with the Cuban cuisine and, if you're lucky, you'll be able to go scuba diving like I did. Honestly, it was the coolest thing I have ever done in my life. (P.S: That picture is literally on South Beach. It looks exactly like that. Insane.)
5. Camping
This could be in your backyard, up the street, on a beach, in a different state, on a campground, or in the middle of the woods. Nothing will ever beat relaxing, fishing, eating s'mores, telling scary stories, hiking, swimming, and just straight up bonding with your family/friends. Honestly camping is SO underrated. Even if you aren't the outdoorsy type, please try it.
I hope you guys all have super fun plans ahead for your summers! I'll be working a lot, but I will absolutely find time to hit up at least 3 of these destinations, you should too.
