Netflix is for sure one of the best things that has happened to this generation. We have the power to watch all of the best shows at any time we want. All the seasons of the best shows at our fingertips. Now that being said it is a little overwhelming with all those shows and movies. Here are my top five shoes that I think you should check out.

1. NCIS

This is one of my favorite shows on Netflix. All of the seasons are on which allows for days of entertainment. The chemistry between the actors is amazing. The show is so much fun to watch and to see the characters develop through the seasons is so entertaining. The crimes that they investigate are so interesting and always keep you on your toes. You should go watch it right now.

2. How To Get Away With Murder

There are only a few seasons on Netflix right now but they do come on as they finish live on TV. The plot in this show is captivating. It is set in a college town with a professor taking five students under her wing. They commit a crime and she has to cover it up. You can not take your eyes off the show. It will keep you on the edge of your seat and always guessing. You never know what is going to happen next.

3. The 100

This is a show that is not as well known as others. This show is set in space and they want to see if life on Earth is possible. The government sends the delinquent juveniles to Earth to see if it can stand life. There is so much drama that goes on while these kids trying to survive. As the seasons go on the kids find more people that are already living on the planet. It is exciting to watch them survive and you really get attached to the main group of kids.

4. Criminal minds

This one is somewhat of a cult classic. One that everyone knows and loves. The team in Criminal minds is so amazing and they have such good chemistry. They work cases that are mind blowing. There are things that no one could even dream of. All of the seasons are on Netflix and you can watch them for hours on end. It is honestly the best show on Netflix in my opinion. Crime shows are my favorite and this one takes the cake.

5. Quantico

This is a new show that I have just discovered. It is only one season right now but it is such an amazing show. It is so captivating and I could not stop watching it. It is a FBI academy class and one of them is a terrorist. It is so good the actors have such good chemistry. Not only is the plot the large find the terrorist scheme but there are also many great love connections. It is an amazing show go watch it now.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
