Wear are my fall fashionistas? (Wear -- get it? I know, I’m not funny) Are you ready for the best season? The season of pumpkin spice, leaves changing colors, football and fabulous fashion. That’s right, it’s fall! I know that it’s still summer, but these next few weeks will mean that retailers begin to clearance their summer stock, and roll in their new fabulous fall stock. So, it is time to trade in bikinis and festival gear for chic cozy sweaters and layers that slay. Sit back, relax and get your debit cards ready because I am here to show you five of my favorite runway trends that anyone can pull off without breaking the bank.

Boho chic meets midnight sleek.

Not so ready to turn your Coachella flower crowns in, yet? Then this is the trend for you. This trend takes your festival gear to the next level by turning it into a more dressed up game. Still free flowing and fun spirited but with a more elegant twist. Trading in those rockin’ rompers for maxi dresses that are cool but classy. A shift to fall colors that favor deeper more serious tones means you’re in business. Even footwear is a breeze. Keep it casual with a great pair of flip flops in the early fall months and then ease in to some fabulous ankle boots as the months grow colder!

'90s revival.

Calling all millennials. Here is your chance to truly embrace being a child of the nineties. The fall runways saw an influx of nineties inspo in the form of sweats and chokers. First, the sweats. Jump into a cozy oversized sweatshirt with a fun logo or cool print and you’re in business. You may even find some great ones from the actual nineties in your house or at your local consignment store. Then, there are chokers. Not the plastic butterfly ones you had in kindergarten. Nope. You’ve grown up and so have chokers. Trade in your butterflies for cool metallic ones with minimalist touches. They’re chic and can be incredibly versatile.

Metallic meltdown.

Speaking of chic and versatile metals, let’s have a meltdown of incredible metallic prints and fabrics. It's time to shine on the way to class and work. Bust out some fierce metallic prints that are bold and demand to be noticed. Dress it up for a day at the office or welcome the weekend with something flirty and fun. Either way you'll slay.

Totally tailored.

Pantsuits and skirt suits. Boring and bland? No way. Love her or hate her, take a page from none other than Hillary Rodham Clinton herself. She is known for rocking her pantsuit from Capitol Hill, and from sea to shining sea. This is the season to welcome tailoring in the form of modern pantsuits and naval inspired pea coats. They're classy and perfect for working the runway or rocking the day to day. Don't be afraid to show off your clean cut and professional style.

Pumped up pumpkin

Time to have some fun. Orange is the new black, right? Right! This season is the time to make your style burst with savory fall colors like reds and warm toned browns. But don't forget about everyone's favorite Starbucks drink, pumpkin spice. This fall is the time to breakout a chunky knit sweater and rock your inner Velma. Pumpkin is as fun as it is festive and pairs well with neutrals.

There are my five suggestions for every fashionista to try. But those aren't the only ones! There are dozens of awesome trends that have found their way to the runways all across the world. Don't be afraid to explore and branch out. My challenge to you is to try one trend this fall that you have never tried before. Now, go out and gear up to look fierce and fabulous this coming fall!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
