College graduations are quickly approaching. Now, some people have a pretty solid idea about what they're doing after graduation. Maybe they have a job lined up, maybe they're going to travel awhile, maybe they're continuing their studies at another university.
Other soon-to-be-college-graduates, however, are not so sure. For those people, myself included, there are some questions bound to come up either during weekend visits home, Spring Break, over phone calls, or even on graduation day itself.
So I have decided to help myself, other people in similar situations, and their family members out by asking and answering every question that might be asked this graduation season.
1. What are your plans after graduation?
I have no idea.
2. Are you going to continue with school?
I don't rightfully know. Probably not immediately.
3. Are you going to return home or stay in the city?
That's a really good question that I don't really know the answer to.
4. What jobs are you going to apply to?
I dunno; whichever ones I find.
5. What can you do with your degree?
I'm not entirely sure.
6. Do you know what career you want to pursue?
I have some ideas.
7. But you had all these years to figure something out?
Yeah, and you had all of these years to come up with more original questions so.
8. Do you at least know what you're doing immediately after graduation? Like, what are you doing the summer after you graduate?
I do not know.
9. Do you know anything?
Yes.
10. What?
Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.
To summarize, we have no idea what we're doing after graduation. Please stop asking.
