Since we are in the middle of fall time I just want to say a few of my favorite fall activities. As a broke college students I try to base my activities around not a whole lot of money and I feel like these activities are cheap and fun that you and your friends can get together and have a great time this season. I really like to use this time as a chance to get closer to my friends and spend quality time with them.

Football Games, there is something in the air when it comes to fall time and football. Being from the south football season is a huge deal for most of us, and although I am not the biggest football fan I love going to a football game in the fall time. Whether it is a high school football game or a college tailgate I recommend giving football a chance and see what all the hype is about.

With fall comes cold nights I recommend gathering your friends, huge blankets, and chairs, and go to a bonfire or have one in your own backyard. Bonfires are a chance for you to get cuddly with your crush or get closer to your best friends. Smores are always a good idea when it comes to bonfires, they are so yummy but absolutely not nutritious.

Go to a costume party, in the fall time you have one of my favorite holidays, Halloween. Its a chance to get dressed up in crazy outfits and be anything you want to be. From figuring out your outfits to

A fair or Carnival is a once a year fun activity. With all the bright lights, delicious food, and crazy rides it is no wonder why the fair brings out such a large crowd. The Mississippi State fair always comes in the fall time usually in October and I absolutely recommend going at least once.

A pumpkin patch is such a basic idea, but not any less fun. You and your friends could make a day out of it. One of my favorite things to do while at a pumpkin patch is take pictures, I am a huge believer in having pictures for memories, but you can always step up your Instagram with cute pumpkin patch pictures. However; if pictures are not your thing you could always do things such as the corn maze and picking out the perfect pumpkin.

My next idea is something to go along with going to a pumpkin patch, but once you have picked out the perfect pumpkin it is always fun to either paint or carve your pumpkin. I am not the most artistic person in the world (I truly have no artistic talent) and even I still enjoy doing this.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
