Congratulations, you’ve reached the end of fall semester. Well, almost. You are just a few weeks away from stress-free holiday fun.
But before you sell your textbooks back and binge watch Christmas movies, you have to deal with the exams... and the projects... and the presentations...
So it's time to crack open those books and start studying, right? But you know you won't be doing that quite yet because you're a procrastinator. It's just part of who you are.
So you'll take a nap or two, watch some Netflix, clean your room. Pretty much do anything to avoid schoolwork. But eventually you'll remember that your big assignment is due tomorrow.
You're getting closer and closer to finals week. Maybe you should start looking over your old notes. Especially since your Chem professor just told you that the final exam is cumulative.
This is when the stress really kicks in. You've been ignoring the fear for a while but here it is. You have to turn your grades around if you want to graduate and get a good job and make a lot of money and have a family and have a dog and a nice house and a nice car in a nice city with health insurance and a retirement plan.
And with stress comes stress-eating. From Flaming Hot Cheetos to Taco Bell burritos, junk food makes everything a little better.
Plus you've been consuming caffeine nonstop for the past three days in order to stay awake and focused.
But you know that all the food, all the coffee, and all the late nights at the library will be worth it when you walk out of your exam knowing you slayed it.
Good luck finishing your fall semester and may the odds be ever in your favor.
