Hey guys! So now that fall is approaching quicker than ever, I just had to whip up a fall makeup look with my new Kyshadow palette. I just couldn't resist, bronze, red, and brownish-orange colors look amazing in any season but especially the fall, they match the leaves, duh! So I wanted to turn Primping with Paige into a series on my youtube channel. I figured this would be a perfect video to start with. I am going to walk you guys through what I did and what products I used to achieve this look! If you guys like this piece please share it with your beauty loving friends!
I started off by moisturizing my skin with the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion, my new favorite moisturizer!
To prime I used my BECCA Backlight Priming Filter, I absolutely love this stuff because it gives my skin such a subtle glow.
For foundation I went in with my Tarte Rainforest of The Sea foundation and my iT Cosmetics buffing brush. I have been using this new method when I apply foundation and its honestly a game changer.
I just squeeze a bit of foundation from the dropper onto the back of my hand and then I take my fingers and dot it onto my face. Then I take my brush and with a really light hand I just use small strokes to blend the foundation into my skin. This works so well to give my skin a really airbrushed look and ensures I won't leave any red spots from pushing the brush too hard against my skin.
To conceal and highlight I used my Urban Decay Naked Weightless Skin Concealer and blended it out with my damp beauty blender.
To set everything I just used the banana powder from ABH.
For the eyes, I was so excited to play around with my Kyshadow palette and see what I could come up with. Before that I just brushed out my eyebrows and took the cool brown shade just to fill in the sparse areas!
To start I brushed the very bone white shade all over my lid to set the concealer. Then I just took that same cool brown shade as a transition color and popped it into my crease! Then I took the reddish-brown color and did the same thing and also focused it the outer corner and outer v of my eyelid. Then I took the bright orange shade and just packed it onto the center of my lid. Let me just tell you, these shadows, are very pigmented, I was impressed. To give my eyes a bit more pop I took the shimmery pearl shade and placed it into my inner corner. Then I just took the reddish brown again and dragged it onto the outer half of my lower lash line and applied mascara to finish the eyes.
Then I contoured and highlighted and put on my favorite lip color at the moment, Exposed by Kylie Cosmetics.
I hope you guys enjoyed this, share if you're just as excited for the fall as I am!
