We are here. This is it. We have finally entered into the fall season! Besides the fact that fall includes two of my favorite holidays (Thanksgiving and my 21st Birthday), this season offers pumpkin spice lattes, cooler temperatures, and great fashion/beauty trends!

As we all know, great fashion can come at a hefty price. But, I have been a poor student for a while now and it has taught me some great tips! If you want to style and profile and not break the bank, check out my list of trends down below!

1. Dark Lips and Glowy Makeup

Fall is a time where makeup can be dark and mysterious. I personally love wearing dark burgundy lipstick around this time. There are high-end brands out there to buy like the Kylie Lip Kit, but I tend to stick to the hundreds of duplicates. Colourpop and Nyx offers great makeup for under 15$! My all-time faves from those lines are the Nyx Liquid Lingerie and Limbo by Colourpop. To get a great glow, I always say to sweat because it is the most natural highlighter out there! I'm actually just kidding. But in all honesty, most drugstore highlighters make the skin look super glowy just like it would in the summer. My favorite is the Elf illuminating palate, retail price 6 bucks!

2. Flannel, Flannel, Flannel

The 90s are back and one of my favorite trends this time period has resurrected is Flannel. This trend can be worn any time of the year, but it looks especially chic in the fall and winter months. You can dress it up or dress it down, wear it with leggings--whatever! The best thing about this trend is that it is relatively cheap! I actually spent $12 each on my flannels from Target.

3. A-Line Mini Skirts

These skirts are straight from the 70s and completely retro! This is another trend that can be worn throughout the year, but if you throw on a long-sleeve shirt and some booties, you will be well on your way to fall fashion. These skirts can get pricey, but stick with Forever 21 and Target and your bank account will thank you!

4. Over-the-knee Boots and Dress

This trend is super cute if you all are into the 70s go-go girl type of style. The boots can get expensive, but the dress is relatively easy to find for the cheap. I get the majority of my clothes from Target, so this dress will be there.

5. Big Sweaters, Crop Tops, and Denim

These three big pieces of clothing are those items that can be worn anywhere! It is a great go-to outfit if you want to go out, go to school or just lounge around the house. All easily and affordably obtainable from Forever 21,Charlotte Russe, Target, BooHoo, Missguided, and Tobi.

6. Turtlenecks

Although they can get annoying, these stylish tops are super cute. Dress it up with some jewelry and you will be good to go!

All right savvy girls. Hopefully, this list of fall trends gets you all excited to shop for this season!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
