Fall break. An amazing time to catch a break in the middle of the semester.

For fall break, most people head on home for the half a week-long break, some work more hours.

But for those that are stuck on campus and wanting to learn more about the area while having fun, here are the top five things to do over fall break in Arizona.

Go visit a museum

The Phoenix area is especially is full of different museums. Sometimes you can even find a specific art exhibit that can interest you into learning something new. Museums are extremely relaxing and fun to go to when you have some time off during the day.

Go on a hike

The amazing thing about Arizona is that no matter where you are, you can almost always find a good mountain or trail to hike. An ASU student favorite would have to be Camelback Mountain. The view at the top is beautiful and provides a breathtaking view of the Valley and Phoenix area.

Tae a road trip to Sedona

Okay so this isn't reserved just for fall break, this is for any time. If you have the opportunity to go out to Sedona, PLEASE DO IT. It's about a two and a half hour drive from the Phoenix area and it can be a fun day road trip with some of your best friends.

Go to the Arizona Science Center

If you want to go have educational fun and feel like a kid again, the Arizona Science Center is the perfect place for you. It's such a cool place to go to do experiments in and also go through different hands-on exhibits they have to offer.

Spend some time at the Grand Canyon

Now for all of the ASU students that aren't from Arizona, the Grand Canyon isn't as close as it might seem. It's actually a five-hour drive by car. Not only that, but you would need about two days to actually enjoy the sceneries along the way and at the Grand Canyon. This is another great road trip idea that will create many great memories.

But let me just give you this piece of advice, no matter what you do for fall break, as long as you have fun and make memories, or money if you're working, then it's all worth it.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
