Fairy Tale Endings Are For The Fairy Tales.

Your life is not in a story book, don't try to make it one.

Honey, don't listen to the love songs, don't listen to the fairy tale don't listen to any other woman that someone is gonna come and save you. There is nobody that is going to come on some white horse and make you happy; the only person that can do that is you. In this aspect the media truly fails us especially the young. Of course you will have friends and family who are there for you in your rough times, but there is no romantic interest who is going to serve you on a silver platter. Everyone has a story, that much is true, but no story is a fairy tale because life just doesn't work that way. No matter how good you are at heart no one in this world is designed to bring you happiness, that's something you have to do for yourself.

Your story, your life, is in your control. All of the happiness is yours for the taking, and it's real easy to do...stop waiting. Don't play the part of the damsel in distress. Go out and do the things you wanna do. If wanna get that tattoo get that tattoo, if you wanna get that piercing get that piercing, if you wanna die your hair or buy new clothes just go out and do it. If you wanna go to one party go to one party, do the things you love and don't think twice about it. No one else's opinion is valid on your body, no one else's thoughts belong in your head (but your thoughts don't belong in anyone else's either).

It's okay to want things that other people don't like, it's okay to do things that make you happy. At the end of the day you're the only one that can do that.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
