Everyone has their own moments when he or she fails at something. Anxiety and panic can start to build up in our heads. From this, stress starts to develop and we are faced complicated decisions in the end. However, failing at something is not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, failing is what makes us human, because no one is perfect. As long as you keep on trying and don't give up, success will soon follow.

I've had my fair share of failures. Failing to meet deadlines, meeting work expectations and even classes. I'm not trying to justify failing, but failing is not as bad as some people may react towards it. Failure is like a a really complex bump in the road. Sometimes you have to go over it and see if it works a second time. Other times, you may have to try something new. There are not always going to be direct answers to life's questions. You may just need a little more time than others to accomplish what you need to do.

Don't get me wrong, failing an exam or class is pretty bad; however, it isn't the end of the world. There is always the option to take summer classes. For some, this may not be an option. The other option would be to retake the class again during the semester the following year. This may be degrading, but it gives the individual another chance at taking on the class. He or she may even end up doing better than everyone else. Some things may take a little more time for others. This isn't a bad thing.

Failing to meet deadlines can be a big issue for some. People can get completely overwhelmed with everything they need to do. Exhaustion and panic can set in and nothing could get done at the end. At this point, all some might want to do would be to sleep. There's this popular thing said when someone has a lot to do: "I have so much to do I want to sleep." Sometimes you need a little sleep to tackle everything you need to do. Organize your time wisely or eliminate some things in your life that you may not need to do.

I'm not trying justify failing to be a good thing, but it's not necessarily a bad thing either. Sometimes you have to fail in order to be successful. For most success if accepting failure.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
