Ladies, are you ever doing something for your boyfriend or husband, and think to yourself, "Wow, this is really extra ... I wonder if he's actually going to like it." Like the DIY project that you spent 8 hours on, that he's probably going to look at once and never touch again (but be totally grateful for). Or maybe the way that you ask him if he's sure he likes his dinner, like 5 or 6 times. It could even be when you vacuum the carpet 3 times in one day because it simply doesn't look clean enough.

I went around and asked some guys how they felt about their significant others, and this is what they had to say.

1. "Carlie likes to tickle me at random ass moments when we are watching a movie."

OK, but seriously... the fact that this boy said this is so cute. Who knew they loved random stuff like this?

2. "For Valentine's day, she got me a photo frame that had the first picture that we had ever taken together, I loved it"

I didn't know that boys actually liked this stuff.

3. "I don't have a girlfriend."

Sorry?

4. "She tries to look her best for me."

Ladies!!! They actually notice.

5. "She takes pride in being healthy."

Aw, this man has his girl figured out.

6. "I loved the pictures that she taped to the ends of balloons for my birthday."

Oh my gosh, he actually liked my DIY gift.

7. "How you hype me up."

Boys like to be hyped up too, ladies.

8. "How you treat me like a baby."

They don't like to act tough all the time!

9. "I love her arts and crafts"

Regardless of what we think, boys do admire the little things about us.

10. "... the way you play with my hair."

I guess we're more alike than we will ever admit.

With those 10 things being said, don't ever forget that your significant other is truly in love with the little things that you do. Even if you don't realize it.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
