Close your eyes and breathe. Now open them. Let's take a walk into the most beautiful place on earth. A place where you know you can feel like yourself and become as small as possible, with so many giant trees surrounding you.
It's an open space where you can jog, sprint, or run from anything.
You've reached a split in the woods, what path will you take?
Choose correctly now.
Oh, you found me. Come. Take your shoes off and dip your feet in here. It's just water, you won't get fungi and if you do, at least we'll be infected together. You won't be alone.
Now, doesn't that feel nice? This feeling you're getting is like being hugged for the first time and not wanting to let go because life is too short to let go. We have so much more to see. Put your shoes on and get on the bridge. Beautiful, right?
Come on, let's go the other way. I want to show you a really perfect tree. A tree that's filled with energy and so much love.
As we walk, can I ask you something? Do you wish you were ever a tree? You can stay rooted to the ground for years and all you do is stand there and watch people pass by. Imagine how wise you can become. It's like if you just close your eyes and stand still. Almost, like the feeling when we were in the water.
Oh, look. A tree with a swing.
Hey! Here, it is. Look at it. We should switch spots with the tree for a second.
Come on. Let's sit in the little nudge and just wait. So many people have expressed a million of emotions on this tree. That's why I wish I was tree.
I don't want to leave but, we have one more place to go. Come on!
If we take the road that's right beside this tree, we'll be at my favorite spot in no time. I mean, there is a hill but it'll all be worth it at the end, I promise.
People live back here but that's okay, they don't mind.
You see that dead end? There's a tiny path. You really have to look for it but, once you find it, you get to see this:
Some people know this tree as the underground railroad tree and some know her as "Momma."
Hug her. It takes about seven people to fully hug this tree. So, I hope you enjoyed this walk, come back whenever you want.
Enjoy your day and go to the woods. It's truly something that you never want to miss. Take a jog, stop by, cry or just sit somewhere but, whatever you do, don't destroy something so magnificent. Fill the woods with love and happiness, and sometimes tears of happiness. That's fine, too.
Love nature. Love trees. Love life.
