You are completely entitled to your feelings and let no person tell you different. As a human, we have emotions that come out at different times for different people. If you do not feel OK mentally, that is quite all right. No one truly knows what’s going on in your head. And to be completely honest with you, they are not going to. You are a person with many emotions, and that is something not everyone will completely understand.
Some people will have the nerve to denote the way you feel, especially if they are the cause of your pain. Please, by no means, let them get to you. You feel the way you feel because, simply, you just do. And sometimes you can not explain why. But remember, you do not have to explain yourself to anyone.
You are your own person. And as your own person, you choose to deal with what you want. If someone tells you that the way you feel is wrong, then they are not worthy of knowing what is really going on in your pretty, little head. Your thoughts are only for your own use and for those whose intentions with them are pure. Trust yourself.
Need to cry? Do it. Need a nap? Take one. Anything to make whatever problem you are faced with easier do it without any hesitation. Your mind needs to be in tip-top shape to deal with the everyday stressors we have, and having clouded thoughts hides the blue skies in your head. So let the sunshine with in your mind and clear those negative thoughts from your life in different ways to ease your pain.
Don't stress over the ones who choose to tear you down, and deem your thoughts and emotions as not important. You ARE important. And if they feel that way, so be it. They did not deserve a spot in your life anyway. Keep your thoughts as positive as possible, and if that means taking people out of your life who makes positivity a difficult virtue to go about then do so. Your emotions are solely yours. Remember everything affects people differently, so someone could cry over literal spilled milk and another will be completely OK with it. You are the main person who can understand the way you are, so keep that in mind when someone tells you that your emotions are invalid.
Read your sad quotes and consume excessive amounts of ice cream when you’re down, if you feel that helps. Then, exude confidence when you’re feeling better. Deal with your feelings the way you feel is best. The No. 1 player on your team is yourself so do what makes you a better player in this game of life. Stay positive and most importantly stay sane! Positive vibes equal positive life.
