Students are finally starting to head back to college after an amazing break at home to relax and destress from all of the studying and preparation from finals. Some students might still be trying to build themselves back up after the torture of finals. On the contrary, other students are beyond excited to head back to school and reunite with their friends and some might even be ready to get away from their hectic life at home with their family.
When students head back to school, ready or not, they need to be prepared to start another semester and work on bettering themselves. The year is now 2016. It's almost crazy to think about. Before you know it, it will be 2020 and then 2030 and after that it will be 2050 and our lives will be flying by. People always have told me that life sure flies by, and at first I didn't agree with them. I thought they just said that to scare me. Now, I am already started my second semester of college. Although several students will become busy again with homework, studying, clubs, games, and other activities, I hope students take the time to remember that it's a new year. You can become a new you- a better version of yourself.
