In a society surrounded by all forms of social media, scrolling through any of these websites pictures are everywhere. Pictures of friends, families, achievements, anything. Often while looking at the pictures, people will comment about how cute someone's outfit was, or how perfect their how looks. It is sad how our society has turned into looking for perfection in a person, and not accepting someone for who they are.

We cannot help the way we were made. Usually, our bodies types are related to our families, whether big-boned or small. We must accept everyone for who they are and not look past that. Not everyone can be a size 0 the rest of their life. Bodies change as we grow, and whether a size 0 or size 8 it shouldn't matter, but it does.

It is sad that looks matter so much on many aspects in life. The way someone looks should not be your first impression of them. You don't know anything about them until you start to talk to them. Get to know someone because you can, and not because of the way they look.

Unlike the movie, "DUFF," not all friend groups has a "designated ugly fat friend." This isn't the reality of life, and if it is then that needs to change. No one should look at their friend this way or feel this way. If someone does, then maybe finding new friends is a better bath.

It is important to embrace the way God made you. Look in the mirror every morning and know that you are beautiful. No matter how you look in pictures, or what size you wear, it doesn't matter. What is on the inside determines the type of person you are.

I have learned to embrace the way I was made. There is nothing I can change about my body because it is the way God made me. So what I don't have thin arms or legs. No matter how much I exercise, or don't eat, my body is still the same and I have to learn to accept that. I know that I am strong and healthy and that is all that matters to me. Acceptance is the hardest part, but you have to know that you are loved by your family and friends and that you need to love yourself.

Don't let society change your lifestyle. Love yourself, and love others. Do not judge someone based on their looks. Know that the way God made you is the way He wanted you to be made, because if you can love yourself, others will learn to love you too.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
