After an amazing sylly week, it feels like you never left Penn State and you are appreciating all that you were without for the past three and a half months. Here are a few of the big ones:
1. Your Friends
After living with these humans for nine months out of the year, not seeing them every day was the hardest separation of your life.
2. Pokey Stix and Wings Over
Arguably the best late night food Happy Valley has to offer, your waistline and your wallet may have been grateful you stayed away from melted cheese on bread all summer, but your tastebuds will not, order one of these ASAP.
3. Your Big
Not seeing my big all summer was one of the hardest things ever. I was so excited to see her that I tackled her to the ground and injured her.
4. Boys
Not being on campus for three months made me forget how many cute boys there were at Penn State, and I missed every single one of them.
5. The Willard Preacher
One of the craziest people? Yes. But he never failed to make me laugh or get a lot of favorites on a tweet quoting some of his most insane preaching.
6. Fiddlehead
I cried tears of joy when I reunited with my salad this past week because it was so good... especially that balsamic Parmesan dressing. Whatever salad place you have at home just does not compare to this one.
7. Football Season
Football season is the best season. Everyone is dressed head to toe in blue and white, there is buffalo chicken dip, and an insane sense of school pride. It's also a great Instagram opportunity to get a picture of you getting tossed up at the game.
8. Fratland
Three months of chilling in some high school friend's basement has you anxious to get back on the nearest elevated surface ASAP singing "679" with all your friends.
One thing I definitely did not miss? Attending class. But still try and go to it every once in awhile no matter how boring it is. After all, it's the reason why you're here.
