DOOMSDAY: The end is near and I’m afraid there is nothing we can do as Americans.

The run for President in 2016 has been everything doctors would prescribe as a nightmare and tonight the madness will finally end with America’s future even more skeptical.

DOOMSDAY: The end is near and I’m afraid there is nothing we can do as Americans.

As the presidential election brews up the anticipation for tonight’s presidential polls has American voters, critics, “know it all’s”, and the remaining general public on edge. No shocker though, each time a new president is chosen everything changes for some reason especially on election day. People are so avid and energetic to vote, traffic is swelled, “I Voted” stickers become a trend and overly publicized, people begin to act differently with some type of false sense of arrogance as if the day of judgement just passed and if you voted then you weren't casted to eternal damnation. To be honest I hate it all, not to be the Grinch of election day or anything but let’s just say no presidential candidate has what I believe is in my best interest. I’m a socialist (if I had to choose a political theory) with idealist thoughts and social liberalism deep within my DNA. My definition of “change” and “equality” are totally different than any presidential candidate would define and that is one of the many reasons why I’d rather be phantom on days like today.

Call me ignorant or stuck in my ways and I’ll gladly accept that but I know I am not alone in this. There are many people who feel the same way about politics as I do and would rather not be a part of such political farce. And as the day gets darker and hours pass me by I can’t help but think that after tonight the end might actually be near for us all. This is the first time that both heavyweights, main contenders, and popular candidates are equally bad, suspicious, and fickle. It’s like choosing between two villains this year and regardless of who you picked for there will still be a thought in the back of your mind that, “Wow, I think I made the wrong choice” or “Welp, it’s better than choosing that asshole Trump” (or you could be a supporter of whomever and feel exuberant). But if you’re like me and don’t like any of the candidates who made it to the final stage but still hold to the “every votes matter” slogan then I guess the best bet is to choose on who won’t fuck up America the most during their sentence.

God bless us all.

The US is worried and I am too to be honest. Although I have an ideal of who is going to win and if we play the numbers game favor should be with Clinton this election process and overall run for President hasn’t been all peaches and cream. Vice writer Harry Cheadle states that “Every presidential election is always the most consequential election in history until the next one, but in 2016, the fear is not solely over Republicans taking control of the government, but of the end of democracy itself.” A tough pill to swallow and even tougher to think about I must admit, just the thought of democracy possible ending makes me cringe. Trump may be a joke to some and a force to others but to me he is a living example of American dictatorship and maybe what the future may become. Cheadle agrees with his statement, “"Donald Trump's success reveals a frightening weakness in American democracy”.

Clinton isn’t any better either though.

By now we should all be aware of how shady Clinton has been thanks to the media constantly reminding us but that’s not the only problem. Harry Cheadle goes on and explains what would happen if Clinton does become president. Cheadle says if Clinton wins then the House of Representatives is going to stay Republican, and that means it would be viciously hostile to Clinton, investigating her for every uncrossed "t" and stray "pls print" email and blocking every piece of Democrat-helmed legislation. Even with a slim majority in the Senate, Clinton would be basically restrained to advancing her agenda through the executive branch—and that would be hard when it comes to major issues like gun control and immigration reform. But at least if Clinton wins women will be saved from Trump’s terror.

Mark Krikorian, director of the Center for Immigration Studies tells Vice that he believes Trump will lose because obnoxious and has all kinds of personal baggage that turns people off even if they hate Hillary [Clinton] and agree with what he says. The result of this election is not going to be any kind of ruling on policy positions.

To think there are even true Trump fans are scary as shit but that doesn’t matter anymore, what matters is tonight’s results. I’m sure it will be a sight to see and I’ll be somewhere outside of my element just to see reactions and people watch like the weirdo I am. I guess tonight’s election will make me appreciate all previous presidents including Bush despite their downfalls. I just hope whatever happens after tonight won’t result in the collapse of all civilization as we know it resulting in me escaping to some refugee back to the “mother land”. This presidential election process has been a true joke I must admit full of media bashing, outlandish shit coming out of Trump’s mouth, rumors and shocking secrets revealed on both sides, and all other things that make me ashamed to say one of these human beings will be the next president.

I’m a firm believer that from here on politics will be even more fucked and whoever will become president might not have the seat for long but let’s just see what happens I guess. I’m looking forward to the doomsday and what CNN will release as breaking news from the White House. It’s been real Trump and Clinton, real interesting to say the lease. I hope one day somehow someone can make America great again but in actuality America was never great just a façade, but maybe the next president will expose who we are and what’s going on within the government by royally fucking things up.

Or maybe not.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
