Back in December, I met a boy. He became good friends with me and my fiance. I never realized something bad would cause him to leave so abruptly.

His family was constantly nagging him, insulting him, and harassing him, even after he left home. Tyler and I supported him, we wanted to see him succeed and joyful. So we became the three closest friends. We would sit and talk for hours, laughing and chatting away about our problems through friendship.

When something happened that caused a ripple effect in his and our lives. He quit his job, hoping his family would finally give up on hurting him and wronging him, but it only got worse.

After a couple of weeks, he told us he found a job. We were all excited for what was yet to come. We were hopeful, but then something happened. Something I don't think I can put in this article.

Events transpired and our dear and close friend told us, "I have to get the hell out of dodge. I had this feeling in my heart that I just had to go, for both of you and your sake." We hoped he would stay, we had finally found someone to be ourselves with, to relax with, to laugh with, and to cry with.

Though we had only known him for a few months, he had walked into our lives with a bond that's rare to find. He packed up his things and left early the next morning.

We don't know where he went, but we know that he left to help us. We miss him every day.

Don't take your friends for granted. They are the family you choose. Hold them close to your heart and you will see how much love you can really have for them. I hope he sees and/or reads this because he was unlike any other person I have ever met in my life.

Just know that we care about you.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
