I cannot lie. I'm in great need of a break. I've had a stomach bug/food poisoning since Tuesday, wrote two, seven-page papers that I stayed up anywhere from 4 to 6 a.m. to write, and found out that I have four projects due next week for one of my education classes.
Could this semester, and this year, possibly be more stressful?
Yes. Absolutely yes.
Hell Week is around the corner. Classes will all be meeting for the last time, wrapping up projects, presentations, essays, and exams before the most dreaded week of them all - finals week. I can't say that I, or many of those that I know, are even remotely prepared for the end of the semester. We've been beaten and bruised by school, by jobs, by our country, and by our personal lives.
It's been a really hard few months for all of us. ("Hard" is an understatement.)
But there is still good in the world, and lately, as I find myself losing sleep and stress-binging on Starbucks, I turn to man's best friend to cheer me up. That's right. Dogs are keeping me sane right now.
In hopes that perhaps you too may get a laugh, a smile, or at least a warm fuzzy and can forget about all the stresses I've just reminded you about for the next few minutes, here is a compilation of some of my favorite videos of my friends and yours, doggos.

9. I cannot get over how funny this dog is walking in its booties. I'm also pretty sure I've seen people dance in a similar, awkward fashion before.
10. Valentine's Day in the life of a dog. "Lonely! I'm Mister Lonely!"
11. "I must growl and bark at toy and then attempt to eat it."
12. This dog playing with a stuffed lookalike will make you want to adopt them a brother or sister ASAP.
13. I'm not even sorry. This kitten by far earns the title of honorary doggo.
14. Pokemon isn't just for humans.
Watch. Smile. Repeat as needed. The next few weeks may be rough, but these dogs have your back.
