When you first saw the title of this article you most definitely thought of someone specific. Did this person have hair that resembled a wavy barbecue potato chip? Is this person extremely rich and does this person own only too many golf courses? You guessed it! This article is influenced by the insanity that is the GOP front runner in the Presidential election or the "Race to the White House.” Donald Trump. (I swore to myself I would never utter these cursed words but we must address this.) In the eyes of any sensible American person (or any person really) Donald Trump is way less than ideal for becoming the next president of this country. What strikes me most is his bigotry and dismissive comments towards various ethnic groups, especially those of the Hispanic background. To sum up my views of the Donald, he uses racist statements and slurs to express and promote racial bias especially since he is famous for wanting to "build a wall folks!" He wants us to build a wall to prevent people from coming into this nation and living the American dream. Trump claims that it is smart to build a wall because (he actually said this) "When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best...they're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people." Donald Trump is building this wall out of hatred, bias, feelings superiority, ignorance and spite. In turn, I am asking the entire world to build a wall and block out these hateful feelings! Be inclusive, be kind, be accepting of people from all walks of life. Form good relationships with everyone around you, because this is your only chance! Life is too short for little feuds and arguments. Friendship love and loyalty are important and priceless bonds. Don't build your walls to block out each other because of differences. If you build a wall, use it to block out ignorance and apathy. Do as Trump says by building a wall. But build it for different reasons. And if you want, you too can buy a golf course just like Trump.
