Ah the Spa
Now I know what youāre thinking; "who's got time? The money?" I agree 100 percent with what you said. Spas are expensive and they take time out of your day. However ask yourself this; when was the last time you did anything for yourself? When was the last time you treated the biggest organ of your body, your skin? Your body needs self-care in order to work as hard as you push it. Personally I don't treat my body as good as I should. I've been a camp counselor at my church for the whole month of July so I've been on my feet for very long periods of time. My mother who had a vacation week coming up also stands on her feet for long periods of time at her job, decided we needed a treat yo'self-day. We went to a spa and got our feet done and let me tell you I could not look at the nail salon lady because there was all kind of junk in crevasses that should never see the day of light! After words we felt our skin glow, and 10 years younger. That's when it hit me. Why don't I take care of myself more? Not necessarily going to the Spa once a week because that is a luxury I can't afford, but I can't remember the last time I thoroughly cleaned my skin or even just put on sun block when I'm in the sun most of the day? There are so many ways in which we can love ourselves that isn't just about eating "right.ā Spend those 10 minutes in your morning routine to scrub that skin. Invest in good skin product that works for you, not just because it worked on that model in that one commercial you saw that kinda looked like you!

I would out one up for food, Although that is a larger topic to discuss and would take up another article's full worth. I am also not a Nutritionist and everyone has their own dietary needs/restrictions. It is best to listen to your doctor what your body needs food wise.
Remember, you are #1 priority. how can you be the best person you can be if you don't treat yourself as such?
