Disney World is known as the happiest place on earth. A place where fun is the only word allowed and smiles are the only thing you see while walking around the parks. The holidays are the busiest time of the year in Disney World. If you are not a big fan of large crowds then I wouldn't recommend going during Christmas and New Years because the amount of people is mind blowing. However, if you are like me, then you will enjoy the crowds and it will actually get you into the Christmas spirit.

My family and I just started going to Disney for Christmas last year but have now made it our tradition to go every Christmas and New Years.

Let's first go park by park when talking about spending the holidays at Disney. The lights, the fireworks and the characters truly make Christmas there unforgettable.

At Disney's Hollywood Studios the Osborne Family spectacle of dancing lights is a beautiful display of lights across a whole street in the park. The Osborne family decorated their own home until Disney offered to become a home for these lights every holiday season. The illuminations come with a light show featuring classic christmas songs, the spectacle begins once it gets dark and continues till the park closes.

Next in Magic Kingdom there are quite a few Christmas celebrations. Castle Dream Lights is where Queen Elsa appears and uses her ice powers to illuminate Cinderella's castle. 200,000 Shimmering lights surround the castle making it more beautiful than it originally is.

Next Magic Kingdom does Mickey's Upon a Christmastime parade. Its shown during park hours and does not require any additional purchase of tickets which is great because spending another $40-60 on tickets is just too expensive. It features lots of music, dancing, lights and even snow!! Characters pass around in their floats waving to the people and you better bet you'll get to see your favorite Disney character.

As the night continues Disney's Holiday Wishes are one of the greatest reasons to go to Magic Kingdom during the Holiday season. Holiday Wishes is a spectacular firework show near Cinderella's castle. The fireworks go along with the music which makes it something worth watching.

And last but not least, my personal favorite, Celebrate the Magic. A nightly show that lights up Cinderella's castle through the use of projectors. The castle is wrapped in bows, converted into other princesses castles, and even shows characters like Elsa and Ursula.

Epcot does not fall behind in spectacular when it comes to their fireworks. Using magical illuminations and a grand finale seen nowhere else but Epcot makes it the most unforgettable fireworks show in all of Disney. Not to mention the "peace on earth" theme makes the show even more beautiful.

On New Years Eve, Epcot does a special music show. As you pass each country in the park there is a live band, DJ or orchestra playing. Hundreds of people dancing the night away with their families enjoying the last day of the year. If you want to go to a Disney park on New Years, I recommend Epcot.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
