College students are constantly overwhelmed with too much to do and too little time to actually do it. But does it surprise you that college students are actually some of the best procrastinators? ...Probably not. But, if you're one of those people that still needs help finding ways to procrastinate and put off your homework, look no further! Here's 10 different things you can to do avoid responsibility.

10. Google Earth

Have you ever found your house on Google Earth? Your school? It's actually a lot of fun- and a great way to procrastinate.

9. Watch YouTube Tutorials

These can be about anything and everything. And once you find one, you can find so many more on the side bar.

8. Facebook Stalking

Whatever happened to that friend from 3rd grade? What are they doing now?

7. People Watch

This is especially great if you live in a popular area. So many different people out there!


6. Learn new yoga poses

This one may not be for everybody—but it is a great form of entertainment. Especially if you have zero coordination.


5. Bake

And then, if you want to procrastinate even longer, find people to hand your treats out to. (Or just eat them all yourself.)


4. Build a blanket fort

There's really not much explaining here. But it's probably one of the best ideas out there.


3. Send awful selfies to all of your friends

Because who doesn't love ugly Snapchats?

2. Netflix

This always seems to be the go-to. You can spend hours binge-watching your favorite show- and then panic when you realize what time it is.

And then don't actually do any of them!



There are so many things you can do when procrastinating everything from homework to cleaning your room. I know I am pretty good at most of these, and do them way more often than I should. What are some of your favorite ways to procrastinate?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines.
