"There has to be something wrong. I just don't break out in tears for absolutely no reason."
This is a thought I've had many times within this past year and a half. This all started after my great-aunt passed away February 2015, and it really kind of spun out of control after my great-grandpa passed away July 2015. You could say 2015 was a rough year for my family. We had two deaths, a high school graduation, and a move- all VERY stressful and emotional times.
Depression is NOT a joke.
It is said that over 60 percent of the population is on anti-depressants. Depression can come in many forms and from many different things. If you know a person that has depression, please don't assume they are doing the things they are doing for attention.
People may cry out of nowhere or over stupid things, they may get angry and have outbursts, and some even go as far as harming themselves because nobody will listen to them.
If you notice someone acting different please make sure they know you are available for them to talk to.
