With just a few weeks until we all head back to school, Tilt, the money-sharing app with a 41 percent month-over-month growth rate we all know and love, just introduced a new one-to-one feature that allows users to send or request money for all your smaller, everyday needs. The new Venmo-like feature will allow you to pay a friend back for covering your meal when your budget belt was one notch tighter than usual, or request money from a roommate for the paper towels you bought last week.

If you don’t use Tilt, download the app now. Tilt launched in 2012 as a way to originally help groups easily collect and organize money for things like tailgates, birthday parties, philanthropy events, concert tickets and group dinners. The app’s strong presence among college campuses nationwide has been significant, as it helps sororities, fraternities, clubs and other large organizations collect money from members for upcoming events, charity events, or planning a weekend trip with your squad.

The app’s trusted new feature, backed by an industry-grade security feature, allows you to send money, request money, and view who has or has not paid all in one screen. That industry-grade security aspect is a huge plus these days, considering how many times I, personally, have found myself checking my bank statement and questioning a charge from other money sharing apps. Plus, it's free for Visa and Mastercard (though there is a three percent fee added for credit card payments). Tilt has no wallet, so funds are automatically transferred into your bank account each day, which means that there’s no forgetting to deposit your cashout and getting frustrated while you wait. Personally, this is my favorite feature, considering there have been a number of occasions when forgetting to cashout my Venmo balance meant I was in a real pickle for the coming weekend.

For those of us headed off to international borders this fall, Tilt’s newest send and receive feature is now available internationally. This means that offering to buy the next rounds of pints for you and a friend at the pub won’t be a hassle. It’ll be as easy as opening Tilt and requesting those pounds. Especially because going abroad means meeting tons new people, using Tilt not only helps you connect on a social level, but also eliminates the awkward situation of trying to get your cash back from someone.

This fall, back to school means a whole lot more than just a new pair of shoes and a haircut. It means keeping up with the latest trends, and Tilt is on that docket. Tilt is the only app you need to make this school year the best one yet. With both the new 1:1 payment feature and the original group payment feature, it is now even more quick and efficient to plan events, or simply split bills with friends or family. Long gone are the days of haggling your friends for cash or stressing over writing that rent check. Tilt accounts are fast to create and easy to use on both iOS and Androids.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
