If you’re out on the road, feeling lonely and so cold, there’s a very good chance that just the thought of the men form "Gilmore Girls" could keep you warm. Here is my definitive ranking of the hunks of "Gilmore Girls."
1. Luke Danes
We were introduced to the grumpy yet lovable diner owner, Luke, in the very first episode, and we cherished the love-hate relationship that Luke and Lorelai had. When Luke and Lorelai’s engagement ended at the end of season six, my heart shattered into a million pieces. A world without Luke and Lorelai was not a world that I want to live in. Although it didn’t work out between them, Luke was still the most lovable man throughout the show. We were all rooting for him.
2. Logan Huntzberger
Logan’s impulsive personality brought out a side of Rory that we had never seen before. From stealing a boat to her escapades with the Life and Death Brigade, Logan helped her step out of her Stars Hollow bubble. You loved him for his lavishness and spontaneity and hated him for his arrogance, but in the end, he’s the one that proposed.
Christopher and Lorelai’s on-and-off relationship never seemed to work out. Because he was Rory’s dad, he was always involved in their lives, but the timing never seemed to be right for him and Lorelai. Then I thought, “This is it! They will finally have their family together!" But nope—Lorelai ended up single again. He was such a good guy, and you could tell that he never stopped caring for Lorelai since their teenage years.
4. Jess Mariano
When Luke’s nephew, Jess, came into town, he was the rebel that everyone was wary of. He always seemed to get into trouble, whether it was intentional or not, and he was never going to end up with Rory because of this. We were able to see his sensitive side through their discussions about books and music. Although he was seen as the brooding bad boy, we knew that he truly cared for Rory. I always secretly wanted it to work between them.
5. Max Medina
You could tell that Max was so in love with Lorelai, and when he proposed with a thousand yellow daisies, I thought she would finally settle down. He put so much effort into their relationship, but he was never the right match for Lorelai. When she ran away before their wedding, I hurt for Max, but I knew that she wasn’t ready to be with him.
6. Tristan Dugray
The Dean-Rory-Tristan love triangle always had me on my toes. It was easy to see that Tristan had feelings for Rory even though he spent most of their time together taunting her. This teasing later turned into a genuine interest for Rory, but she was still with Dean. He wanted to be with her, but Rory was oblivious to this.
7. Dean Forester
In the beginning you think Dean is the cute, all-American boy that Rory will fall in love with. This holds true for the first couple seasons, but he earns the last spot on the list for what he does after he breaks up with Rory. He marries another woman and cheats on her. He is the worst of all of the men on the show. I wanted to love Dean, but I just couldn’t after what he did.
