Dear Little Sister,
I love you. I've loved you since the day I met you. You gave me something I never thought I would ever have: the ability to be a big sister. You've allowed me to be a big sister for most of my life and I have loved nothing more. I know we fight sometimes and sometimes we don't agree, but I love being your older sister. I love being able to help you along in life, even if sometimes you won't let me. I love watching you grow and change into your own person. When we were kids, people used to joke that we were twins or that you were older and I was younger. You are 100% your own person and I love who you are.
Thinking about life with you brings a smile to my face every single time. Some of my fondest childhood memories (actually most of them) have also involved you. You're someone I always know will be there, even after others have left. We may be completely different personalities, but we are always sisters, and the fact that you are different from me is one of the things I love most about you.
You are beautiful, kind, incredibly funny, and unbelievably gifted. It has brought me so much joy to watch you grow up into the amazing, beautiful, talented person that you have become. I know we aren't as close as we could be, but I also know that I am always here for you no matter what. I would walk through fire for you if I could. You mean more to me than words could ever describe. I will always have your back and I will always love you. I will always be your biggest cheerleader, your shoulder to cry on, and your confidante when you mess up and need someone to vouch for you.
I can't wait to see where life takes you. I can't wait to watch you get a big girl job, get married, and have beautiful kids. I can't wait to grow old with you, swapping stories about our lives when we were kids and memories of our time together growing up.
I hope you get everything you want in life. I hope you have the best life ever. I want the best for you. I always have, and I always will.
Keep being awesome, Little Sis. I will keep cheering you on, forever and always. I love you.
Love,
Big Sister
