Dear President Trump,
To me, it is not very important whether or not you are the next president. Why? I only have one true leader and that is God. He knew what he was doing by deciding to put you in office and I have the upmost faith that you will do right by not only him but all of us. Many people are worried and scared for their future but I believe it is because they do not have faith. So this may be the end of the world and horrible things may come our way but I will still have faith. I have faith in humanity, I have faith in the world, I have faith in God, and I have faith in you. I do not believe you are this horrible person the media makes you out to be. I do not believe that you hate people of color or the LGBTQ+ community just because of a little snippet of a speech that the media chose to use. I have watched the entirety of speeches and you are not as bad as everyone thinks but maybe that is just me trying to see the good in what we have.
The people protesting and the people violently rioting do not have faith. If they did, they would be praying and confiding in God, not bashing each other and spreading hate. Things will change, either for the better or for worse and we have to be prepared. No one knows for certain what the next four years will bring besides God. I do not want you to fail because if you fail, everyone fails. God tells us not to worry and to cast our fears upon him so to those that are fearful; cast it on him -- pray. Pray for the people who feel personally and deeply affected by this election, pray for those that are choosing to spread hate from both sides of the spectrum, pray for those who were silent voters and now silent bystanders watching people destroy their cities, pray for the young kids who really are not aware or informed about politics but are thrown into this mess now, pray that people may begin to have faith and find their way to God through this hateful time, and lastly pray that God will continue to show his love and show us all why we need to have faith.
I believe that there is good in everybody and I hope that things turn around and people come together and believe in you. It is not easy being in your position (I know I could not do it) but God put you in a higher power and I pray that you do not abuse it. I may not agree with everything you do or say but you are the next president. You were chosen for this role and for that, I have to respect you. I will not bash you or Hillary, or Hillary supporters. I have made the choice to be a respectful human being and a loving human being. Many people feel the same as me and many people do not. Either way, I choose to be respectful and I choose to have faith. I will continue to have faith and I will continue to pray that you lead our country in the right way.
