I know the possibility of a snow day gets everyone excited, and it should. Even the winter-haters grow to love snow when it means classes are cancelled- or at least delayed.
Most of us have experienced snow back home and are overly prepared for it, especially the North Carolina definition of a “heavy downfall.”
Snow itself is stunningly beautiful, turning an already gorgeous campus into a winter wonderland, but the real reason why we need snow is frankly we are all in desperate need of a break.
The weekends are not enough time anymore!
What used to be a relaxing couple days of rest turned into Sunday nights filled with panic and insomnia. Whether you want to build a snowman out on the quad or prefer to snuggle up inside with some cocoa and your friends, nobody can deny that snow days provide some much needed relief from the daily struggle.
We’re not asking for a re-do of the snowpocalyse from last year (even though pushing all the couches together and having a massive party was really fun), we just need a few days to catch up.
So get your ice cubes, PJs, and brush up on the snow dance to send Mother Nature your personal request- and let it snow!
