Dear Mom,
From day one you have been my best friend, no matter how many boys or girls came into my life you have always been my number one. From playing with barbies to going to concerts together I have always enjoyed my time spent with you. I will never forget the days you sat in the floor with me to play with babies, the times you taught me to cheer and play basketball, the weeks you spent taking care of me after having surgeries and most of all raising me into the Christian woman I am today. So here's to you Momma T!!
You have always been there for me from helping me through my first break up to calming me down on my first day of high school. You have always known exactly what to say to help me in every situation and I thank you for that. There is nothing more calming than a mother's shoulder to cry on and the wise words from the lady you look up to. We may not see eye to eye in everything we do and sometimes you may think I don't care to hear your input. However, just know that every little piece of advice you give me does go into my memory. I may not take that advice right then and there but trust me it does mean all the world to me.
I'm sorry that I don't see you as much as I should but we both have crazy schedules. However, when I do see you I cherish every time we are together even if it is for 10 minutes. I love the nights we spend at concerts, the days we spend shopping till we drop and the road trips to North Carolina where we sing our hearts out. I couldn't be happier with the mom that God has given me.
You have always been my number one fan from the time I started playing basketball to my last day on the sidelines cheering. You are now my biggest fan while I am buried in online exams and class projects. You support me in everything I do and I truly thank you for that. Thank you for sitting back and watching me grow into the young college woman that I am. I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for you and all of your advice.
I don't know how I got so lucky when God chose me to be your daughter but I am so thankful that he did. You are my best friend, my role model, my person, my support system, my number one fan but most of all you're the best mom a girl could ask for!
Love,
Your Babygirl
