Dating in Fayetteville

34

It's a Friday night, you've been dating your significant other for about two months now, and you want to hang out with your sweetheart, but you have nothing to do. Getting dinner and watching a movie has gotten kind of old, and you're both running out of things to talk about. You are absolutely not alone, and all you need is something fun to spice things up again! Doing things together helps make you more of a team and grow closer, and I'm always a fan of that. So I've come up with a few date ideas that you can try out in Fayetteville!!

The Intellectual Couple

  • Crystal Bridges
  • 21C and Walmart, Bentonville

The Stick with the Group Couple

  • Do something sweet for one of your friends together, like bake cookies for them or go surprise them and make them do something on this list with the two of you.
  • Find other couples to go out with
  • Volunteering, Food Pantry
  • Host a dinner party for your friends
  • Progressive Dinner
  • Razorback Game

The Sappy Couple

  • Drive in Movie
  • Go to an open house for a really nice house
  • Do something for your significant other's parents, like send them flowers or a thank you card. If you're not at the parent stage yet, do something with or for their siblings!
  • Go to church together!!
  • Ice-Skating
  • SnoCone during the spring!
  • Eureka Springs, about 45 miles away, Haunted Hotel
  • George's
  • Briar Rose for brunch
  • Gentry Zoo

The Athletic Couple

  • Find a bonfire.
  • Go camping.
  • Devil's Den
  • Bike Riding on the Trail - rent at HPER or Clubhaus
  • Mini Golf is always awesome
  • Go to a yoga class together at the HPER or Clubhaus

The Spontaneous Couple

  • Go to the Cowboy and get dance lessons on Wednesday night, and then stay till 9 to practice.
  • Go to the casino!
  • Roller-skating
  • Branson - Silver Dollar City, Big Cedar Lodge

The Creative Couple

  • If you're of age, find a wine pairing class.
  • WAC show or concert
  • Comedy Show Dickson Street Theater
  • Go to the mall and pick out a date outfit for the other one, and don't let them see it till you get back and then wear it out :)
  • Write out your favorite memory together and exchange stories at dinner.
  • Build something together - paint glasses. Put both of your Greek letters on cups. Go to Hobby Lobby and get the non washable paint.
  • Make dinner together - but make it from scratch. Make a pizza! Or make it a competition.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
