It's the heart of summer which means, Happy Wedding Season! I strongly believe that it is one of country music's missions to produce some of the most beautiful, cheesy, and tear-jerking wedding songs. I went on a hunt for the best choices for a first dance that country music could deliver.

Most girls have dreamed of the perfect wedding since they were younger, and even though boys might not admit it, they've probably thought about it too. And one of the most important things was the first dance at the reception. That beautiful first dance with your new wife/husband and a memory you would share with your kids one day. Picking a song for such a specific moment can be stressful and could change so many times before a decision is finally made. These 23 country songs are some of the best. A mixture of some older country to some new that's on the radio today, but nonetheless are beautiful in each's own way.

1. "From the Ground Up" by Dan & Shay

Dan & Shay are relatively new members to the country music world and have produced other hit songs such as "Nothin' Like You," "19 You + Me," and "Show You Off."

2. "Then" by Brad Paisley (Piano Mix)

Brad Paisley has been around a fair amount of time, his first album debuting in 1999, this song originally hit radios as a mixture of guitar and piano. But Brad released an alternate and more intimate version of the song containing just the piano.

3. "She's My Kind of Rain" by Tim McGraw

A 2002 hit that had girls everywhere believing that the man they loved believed that they were created perfectly for them.

4. "Pretty Beautiful" by The Swon Brothers

The Swon Brothers, being discovered first on "The Voice" went a long way in the show as one of the greatest duos seen, and produced other hits such as "Later On," and "Pray for You."

5. "I Don't Dance" by Lee Brice

Being named as one of the top wedding songs in its release year in 2014, "I Don't Dance" still holds a special place in our hearts, especially if the man you're with doesn't know two things about dancing.

6. "H.O.L.Y." by Florida Georgia Line

Florida Georgia Line's latest hit, "H.O.L.Y." has all of our hearts swelling with its double meaning message and the beautiful voices of Tyler and BK.

7. "Yours" by Russel Dickerson (Wedding Edition)

Probably the newest song to grace itself among the playlist and comes with an original version of the song as well as the Wedding edition, talk about double duty.

8. "Die A Happy Man" by Thomas Rhett

A relatively newer tear-jerking country song by the beloved Thomas Rhett, who's music video for the song includes a cameo from his beautiful wife.

9. "Mine Would Be You" by Blake Shelton

A personal favorite of mine, showing the more intimate side of Blake Shelton's music.

10. "Hey Pretty Girl" by Kip Moore

Kip Moore's "bad boy" but mixed with "you're my girl" attitude is a perfect mix. Not only does his voice make us melt, but his loyalty to his love makes us believe in something a bit more.

11. "Perfect Storm" by Brad Paisley

Sometimes we get very self-concious about how we act and how we present ourselves around our friends, families, or collegues. This song by Brad makes us all feel unashamed about being our true selves and makes us feel loved.

12. "Me and You" by Kenny Chesney

An ancient song by Kenny Chesney who is more known today for his hits "Noise" and "American Kids" that simplifies the message of love and that it really is as simple as "Me and You."

13. "My Kind of Crazy" by Brantley Gilbert

Similar to the message in Brad's song, "Perfect Storm," Brantley makes us all feel secure in acting like ourselves and relays the message to us that someone will love us despite our flaws.

14. "Who I Am With You" by Chris Young

One of my best friend's songs that she shares with her boyfriend, so though this song is not one of my top choices, it still holds a special place in my heart where

15. "Wanted" by Hunter Hayes

Hunter Hayes most popular song was "Wanted" and helped make every single girl feel loved.

16. "She's Everything" by Brad Paisley

A beautiful song from Brad that describes the woman that he loves as everything he's ever wanted or needed in life.

17. "I Did With You" by Lady Antebellum

A song from the new motion picture, "The Best of Me." A Nicholas Spark book.

18. "It's Your Love" by Tim McGraw & Faith Hill

An older and more frequent song to find upon a wedding song list, but nonetheless, a beautiful song sung by a husband and a wife.

19. "First Love Song" by Luke Bryan

Sometimes men are not always that keen in "having a song" with their girlfriend or are out of their office more than a few seconds.

20. "Amazed" by Lonestar

An older country song that captured our hearts when it first debuted on the radio.

21. "You Had Me From Hello" by Kenny Chesney

Another one of Kenny's older songs that captured the hearts of many listeners.

22. "God Gave Me You" by Blake Shelton

An extemely popular wedding song that I expreienced first hand at a wedding over the summer a few years ago.

23. "Because of Your Love" by Kenny Chesney

A very unknown Kenny song, hidden among one of his older albums!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
