It's the heart of summer which means, Happy Wedding Season! I strongly believe that it is one of country music's missions to produce some of the most beautiful, cheesy, and tear-jerking wedding songs. I went on a hunt for the best choices for a first dance that country music could deliver.
Most girls have dreamed of the perfect wedding since they were younger, and even though boys might not admit it, they've probably thought about it too. And one of the most important things was the first dance at the reception. That beautiful first dance with your new wife/husband and a memory you would share with your kids one day. Picking a song for such a specific moment can be stressful and could change so many times before a decision is finally made. These 23 country songs are some of the best. A mixture of some older country to some new that's on the radio today, but nonetheless are beautiful in each's own way.
1. "From the Ground Up" by Dan & Shay
Dan & Shay are relatively new members to the country music world and have produced other hit songs such as "Nothin' Like You," "19 You + Me," and "Show You Off."
2. "Then" by Brad Paisley (Piano Mix)
Brad Paisley has been around a fair amount of time, his first album debuting in 1999, this song originally hit radios as a mixture of guitar and piano. But Brad released an alternate and more intimate version of the song containing just the piano.
3. "She's My Kind of Rain" by Tim McGraw
A 2002 hit that had girls everywhere believing that the man they loved believed that they were created perfectly for them.

The Swon Brothers, being discovered first on "The Voice" went a long way in the show as one of the greatest duos seen, and produced other hits such as "Later On," and "Pray for You."
5. "I Don't Dance" by Lee Brice
Being named as one of the top wedding songs in its release year in 2014, "I Don't Dance" still holds a special place in our hearts, especially if the man you're with doesn't know two things about dancing.

Florida Georgia Line's latest hit, "H.O.L.Y." has all of our hearts swelling with its double meaning message and the beautiful voices of Tyler and BK.

Probably the newest song to grace itself among the playlist and comes with an original version of the song as well as the Wedding edition, talk about double duty.

A relatively newer tear-jerking country song by the beloved Thomas Rhett, who's music video for the song includes a cameo from his beautiful wife.

A personal favorite of mine, showing the more intimate side of Blake Shelton's music.

Kip Moore's "bad boy" but mixed with "you're my girl" attitude is a perfect mix. Not only does his voice make us melt, but his loyalty to his love makes us believe in something a bit more.

Sometimes we get very self-concious about how we act and how we present ourselves around our friends, families, or collegues. This song by Brad makes us all feel unashamed about being our true selves and makes us feel loved.

An ancient song by Kenny Chesney who is more known today for his hits "Noise" and "American Kids" that simplifies the message of love and that it really is as simple as "Me and You."

Similar to the message in Brad's song, "Perfect Storm," Brantley makes us all feel secure in acting like ourselves and relays the message to us that someone will love us despite our flaws.

One of my best friend's songs that she shares with her boyfriend, so though this song is not one of my top choices, it still holds a special place in my heart where
