Dear Dad,

Thank you for always providing for our family and making sure everyone's needs were met before your own.

Thank you for your protection and forever making us feel safe.

Thank you for your patience and always practicing softball with me, even when I could never catch "pop ups."

Thank you for coming to every high school activity and supporting me along the way.

Thank you for pushing me the extra mile.

Thank you for telling me I look beautiful, even if I was in sweatpants.

Thank you for your boy advice, even when you don't know what to say.

Thank you for sharing your love for sarcasm with me and never failing to make me laugh.

Thank you for finally giving in and buying me a dog, after those many years of begging.

Thank you for introducing me to the beauty of music.

Thank you for being the "cool dad" and hanging out with my guy friends.

Thank you for those simple "thinking of you" texts.

Thank you for showing me what a hard worker looks like.

Thank you for always loving me no matter what.

Last but not least, thank you for being you.
