The four men on "Criminal Minds" really know how to set a girl’s expectations pretty high. It seems like no guy will ever achieve the greatness that Aaron Hotchner, Derek Morgan, Spencer Reid and David Rossi have achieved. To all the guys out there, here’s why you didn’t measure up. Maybe how you could measure up. Not saying be like them, just develop a quality or two that some of them have.
First is Aaron Hotchner.
He’s the team leader, he’s hardcore and doesn’t really show much emotion. But when he smiles or cries, the heart will melt. When he’s with his son, he’s the sweetest person. He’s amazing with kids. He knows what he wants from his team and he knows how to articulate it to them. He is detached from every case yet very sympathetic toward those who have suffered.
Next is Derek Morgan.
He’s one of the most attractive men to have walked. Not only is he really nice to look at, he’s really protective of everyone he cares about, but especially his baby girl, Penelope Garcia. With him around, who would have to worry about all the bad people in the world.
Then there’s Spencer Reid.
Reid isn’t just an agent, he’s a Doctor. He holds PhDs in mathematics and chemistry and engineering as well as two bachelors in psychology and sociology. But it’s not just his brains that makes him so attractive, he’s so sweet to everyone and his being socially awkward just makes it better. His hair is ever changing but it always makes him even better.
Finally David Rossi.
This man is the kindest man on the team. He has so much sympathy for the victims’ families. He has so much care for the members of his team. He will go out of his way to make they are well taken care of and he offers help where he can. Not to forget that he is a fantastic cook. He’s an Italian so his cooking is bound to be amazing. Sometimes he’s willing to share.
So it’s pretty obvious that these men have set really high standards for the boys even though they’re not real characters. But most girls do fall in love with fictional characters so they have this unreal expectation of what boys should be like. It’s not bad or good, it just is. Anyway, even though these men will never be real, they’re characters that most girls will fall in love with.
