13 Country Songs From The 90s That Will Give You Intense Nostalgia

In recent years, country music has become more and more popular. Along with the growing popularity, we have been blessed with songs like "Tequila" by Dan + Shay, "Hurricane" by Luke Combs, and so many more. Now, I love those songs as much as the next person. Most people who grew up listening to country music, as I had, are anti this new wave of country music. They like to argue that country music isn't country music anymore. I beg to differ, but that's another conversation for another time.

However, that doesn't mean that I don't still jam out to 90's country music. If you're feeling nostalgic, put on one of these songs. I promise you won't regret it.

1. "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!" - Shania Twain

You are absolutely lying if you say that as soon as you hear the words "let's go, girls" you don't get the strong urge to dance and sing at the top of your lungs.

2. "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy" - Kenny Chesney

You can never go wrong with Kenny Chesney. I swear there isn't a single song he's released that I don't like.

3. "I Like It, I Love it" - Tim McGraw

An absolute anthem.

4. "Fancy" - Reba McEntire

Reba is the original Queen of Country Music. Carrie Underwood has since then taken over the throne.

5. "Check Yes or No" - George Strait

This song always made me want to write my crush a note with the words "check yes or no." Anyone else?

6. "She's In Love With The Boy" - Trisha Yearwood

Trisha Yearwood's best song. Don't @ me.

7. "Dust on the Bottle" - David Lee Murphy

8. "This Kiss" - Faith Hill

THIS KISS THIS KISS!!

9. "How Do You Like Me Now?" - Toby Keith

10. "Amazed" - Lonestar

I don't know what it is about this song that always makes me cry. In my opinion, this is the perfect song to dance to at a wedding. So if anyone is currently struggling with picking a song, you're welcome.

11. "Friends in Low Places" - Garth Brooks

There is something so magical about an arena of people singing this song at the top of their lungs. Look it up on Youtube. Instant chills.

12. "Any Man Of Mine" - Shania Twain

Shania owned the 90's. I said what I said.

13. "Where the Green Grass Grows" - Tim McGraw

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
